What We Teach
Our projects are taught on Scratch, a platform dedicated to making learning to code easy and fun. Projects that we teach include sprite control and movement, maze games, drawing shapes using pen, fruit catcher games, and more!

James Wagner
James is a graduate of The River Academy in Wenatchee, WA. He has been learning coding since third grade and is proficient in Python, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Java and C++. James is passionate about teaching children how to code and has experiences with programming languages and tools. He taught his younger sisters coding at home and has helped them advance in coding.
With his ability to tailor his teaching style to the needs of individual children, James is familiar with a variety of coding languages and tools, including Scratch, Code.org, robotics kits, web development tools, and game development platforms. He’s excited to help students learn coding with new and innovative tools.
Emily Wagner
Emily is a junior at The River Academy in Wenatchee, WA. Along with her brother James, she has been learning to code since first grade and has developed skills to code in Python, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Java and C++.
Emily enjoys teaching younger children to code and has had experience with teaching and helping younger children through helping her 3 younger sisters. In her free time she enjoys hiking, reading, swimming, and spending time with her family. She looks forward to giving students the opportunity to explore and create with coding.
